Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Velora mobile application and the veloracoach.com website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Velora is (and is not)

Velora is a wellness companion that helps you track food, hydration, exercise, weight and mindfulness, and offers AI-generated suggestions to support your goals.

Velora is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Calorie estimates, macro breakdowns, meal suggestions and insights are informational estimates generated by AI and standard formulas. They can be inaccurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating. If a suggestion ever conflicts with advice from your doctor, follow your doctor.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Velora.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You agree to provide reasonably accurate profile information. The quality of your targets and insights depends on it.

3. Subscriptions (Velora Pro)

• Some features (such as AI photo food logging and the AI Meal Studio) require a paid Velora Pro subscription, billed through Google Play.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.
• AI features have fair-use daily limits to keep the Service reliable for everyone.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering the app, abusing the AI features with automated traffic, or using the Service in any unlawful way. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your content

The logs, photos and text you submit remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to process them so the Service can function (for example, sending a meal photo to our AI provider for analysis). See the Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled and deleted.

6. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Velora available and improving, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Features may change, and we may discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velora and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions you make based on estimates or suggestions provided by the app.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Delete Account & Data). We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
